An advocate reaches this record only if their name was printed in an order the site has read. That is 3,481 of the 8,717 companies on the record — 39.9%. The gap is not an error; it is which orders exist and which have been swept, and it is worth seeing before reading anything else here.

Why withdrawn cases are nearly empty. The five corpora swept for names are admission orders (3,524) · liquidation orders (2,278) · resolution orders (1,176) · plan-approval orders (528) · scanned resolution orders (245). None of them is a withdrawal corpus, so withdrawal orders were never read for appearances. The row is thin because of what has been swept, not because advocates were absent.
The directory above is ordered by case count, which puts the busiest first. This is the same population in alphabetical order — every name, including the 2,997-odd who appear in a single order and would otherwise sit behind forty pages of directory.
Resolution professionals carry an IBBI registration and a measured track record; registered valuers carry a registration too. Advocates carry neither, which is why this page counts and never scores.
Where this comes from. Advocate names are read from the appearance block printed at the head of tribunal orders, across admission orders (3,524) · liquidation orders (2,278) · resolution orders (1,176) · plan-approval orders (528) · scanned resolution orders (245). No name is inferred and none is matched to a register, because none exists. Names that could not be read as a person have been withheld rather than guessed, and a company that has been through more than one insolvency process is never attributed to one of them without a date to do it with.
